Boat Condition
This Uniflite 34 is owned by a 100-ton boat captain who takes good care of the boat and its systems. The boat's clean condition belies its age. The hull was painted with Awlgrip years back and still shows some nice shine. The owner has started sanding the forward deck for painting in the future. The painting may not be completed before the boat sells.
A couple of soft spots were noticeable on the forward deck. The portholes have been replaced and reset as needed over time. There are some signs of condensation or previous leaks around the windows. The owner confirms there are no leaks.
The twin Crusader 454s started right up and purred. Engine hours are unknown. Videos of the engines running are available.
The old wiring has been replaced with marine grade wiring, a dual-bank battery charger, and electrical panels. Cabin lights have been converted to LED. The Westerbeke 7KW generator runs well and powers the whole ship.
Air conditioning runs great and was doing its job nicely on the 90-degree day the photos were taken. The owner has an unused 18,000 BTU heat/air conditioning unit to replace the current unit. Both units are included in the boat sale. The boat is kept air conditioned and a dehumidifier is always running while at the dock, so the boat always smells fresh.
