Boat Condition
This 1997 Tartan 37 has been undergoing a years-long refurbishment, but time has moved on and the seller feels he cannot complete the refurbishment and fully enjoy the vessel. Most of the major and more expensive work has been completed and what remains is mostly cosmetic.
The standing rigging and chainplates were replaced approximately 5 years ago. The stainless steel portholes are approximately 5 years old and the seller has the remaining portholes needed to complete the set.
The boat was re-wired in 2021 with all marine-grade tinned copper wire.
The original marine air conditioning was non-functional when the seller acquired the vessel. He removed the systems, leaving the plumbing and electrical in place should a new owner choose to replace it. Likewise, the generator was inoperable and unrepairable when the boat was acquired. The seller removed it and there is a pad waiting for a new generator should the new owner so desire.
